Host
One file. A host. Then DNS. That is the whole deploy.
After Sitecraft payment you already have this checklist. This page is the public version — useful before you pay, and useful if a nephew is doing the DNS.
1. Keep the file named index.html
Hosts treat index.html as the homepage. Renaming it my-site.html makes the URL ugly.
2. Upload
- Cloudflare Pages — Workers & Pages → Create → Upload assets. Drag the folder. Fastest for one file.
- Netlify Drop — app.netlify.com/drop. No git required.
- GitHub Pages — repo with that file on
main, Settings → Pages → deploy from branch.
3. Attach the domain you bought or already have
In the host, Custom domains → add www.yourshop.com and yourshop.com. Copy the CNAME they show (often www → something.pages.dev). For the root domain, use the A/AAAA or CNAME flattening they print. Wait 5–30 minutes. If HTTPS still fails, you skipped one of the two names.
The trap
If nothing changes after an hour, you are editing DNS at the old registrar while nameservers already point at Cloudflare — or the opposite. One dashboard owns the name. Sitecraft cannot see which. See domains.
